MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2008 AT 8:50 AM
The final Saturday of the campaign was packed with energetic rallies in Virginia and Pennsylvania. Thousands of revved-up supporters were at every stop and I know Dad speaks from the heart and from experience when he says he can "feel" the momentum. We're as excited as we've ever been, and we know that so many of our loyal readers are too. We're down to the last two days so keep watching and get ready to make sure you (and at least 10 of your friends) vote on Tuesday!
Song of the Day: "Holding Out for a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler
Mom and Dad get a huge kick out of some of the signs in the crowd.
More "Joe!"
Mom introduces Dad.
A loyal supporter.
Showing their colors.
Classic pic.
There was an outdoor area for the media.
People in the crowd were jazzed.
Digging the pom-poms.
READY TO LEAD!
People were bundled up for the cool weather.
Dad thanks the crowd.
Brooke is ready for the next event.
Dad greets the crowd.
The Straight Talk is ready to roll.
Break time between travels.
On to Pennsylvania!
The crowds always show Mom their love.
Dad waves to the enthusiastic audience.
Great pic.
Back on the plane and Frank is already hard at work.
Our carry-on luggage sits in an open spot on the plane.
The plane is where most people get caught up on sleep.
Shannon is ready for the next stop.
Frank is good to go.
Shannon...
Josh...
Melissa...
And Charlie Black in the van!
Shannon and I watched a rough cut of Shannon's next video.
We even had Charlie watch.
Campaign Manager Rick Davis is constantly checking emails.
Watchful eyes are on the crowd.
The "Joe" mania continues.
Woohoo!
Mom and Dad pose for a photo with law enforcement.
And we're off to the next event.
I signed a few books along the way.
Frank even had "podium duties."
Away we go!
