Santorum's Surprising Trifecta

So far, the race for nomination has been anything but predictable. Until two days ago, most people were ready to count Santorum out, but after sweeping Colorado, Minnesota, and Missouri on Tuesday, I'm sorry to say we can't him out just yet. What do you think – after his recent victories, do you think there is a chance Santorum could be the nominee? Let me know your thoughts and reasoning in the comment section!

No santurum won't be the nom. The repubs will eventually swallow that big boring mormon pill and they better do it soon cuz as this infighting goes on ultimately weakening the nominee, the president has very smartly remained quiet and presidential looking. Obama can campaign his ass off. It's already started. You saw him singing last week. I don't care if unemployment is 9 the indies will choose the charismatic bin laden killer over some awkward very easily put on defense mitt Romney. In the debates Obama will drone Romney. Straight the f up.

Yeah, it says a lot about a candidate who has the most money to spend, the largest political organization, and a Super PAC that is totally ruthless and will say anything to score points; yet he is still seeing losses in several states. It is completely obvious to anyone who has any sense that a large portion of the conservative base is not comfortable with Mitt Romney. Not only that, but there is a dirty little secret in this Primary that is finally getting some attention. Ron Paul is actually winning the delegates in caucus states due to a loophole in the process of the caucus. I personally don't think that this should be allowed to go on, it totally undermines the democratic voting process, but it's apparently how it works at the moment.

Santorum is quite scary with is preoccupation with sex. I''m not sure if even woman who are pro-life can support a candidate that would outlaw contraceptives and put them at risk of unplanned pregnancies or abstaining. In my opinion that is the ultimate government over reach. I wouldn't mind Mitt so much if he embraced his true Moderate self. His bid for ultra conservatism just doesn't sell but he will get the nom because Santorum is just plain scary. I think Romney's mistake is that is decision not to stand by some of his own past legislation makes him come across as lacking conviction. Santorum has the conviction but it is SCARY! It makes you think WHAT is going on in his bedroom? (and I mean that rhetorically...I got a little queasy even as I formed the question) No Santorum will fade.
