My Favorite Arizona Hangouts

I’m home to Arizona filming an upcoming piece for MSNBC and I'm going to spend the rest of the week in town finishing writing the final chapters of my upcoming book America You Sexy Bitch: A Love Letter to Freedom (co-written with my good friend Michael Ian Black).
In the meantime, I thought I would give those of you who aren’t native to Phoenix a list of my favorite places and hangouts that I always frequent when I’m in town.
Postino Wine Cafe: Hands down my favorite place to get bruschetta and wine. I love this wine bar. Try the pub board and artichoke bruschetta - my favorites.
TeePee Mexican Restaurant: You want good Mexican food? This is my favorite in all of Arizona. I have dreams about their enchiladas and strawberry Margaritas.
Lindsay Lou Boutique: This is my favorite store in Scottsdale. My friend Lindsay Ebbert owns this store and picks out all the clothing and accessories inside. Everything is amazing and they have a great selection with a southwestern vibe to the store. I can never leave Arizona without visiting Lindsay Lou!
Lux Coffee: This is my favorite coffee shop in all of Phoenix. I have been hanging out at this place and picking up my iced lattes since high school. The coffee is amazing and it’s just a fun place to hang out inside. I have written many papers and columns inside of this place.
The Rusty Spur Saloon: I love this bar in old town Scottsdale. Good beer and good music, it’s a fun local country bar where I always end up getting a drink.
Casino Arizona: I don’t know what it is about my friends in Arizona, but we all love to gamble. Casino Arizona is a really fun place to go on a Friday night if you want to play a little blackjack and have a good time.
Sundrops Nail Spot: This is a hidden gem in Phoenix - a combination nail saloon and boutique, this is the best place to get a good manicure and pedicure. The girls who work there are sweet and friendly and the manicures last forever!
Have you ever been to Arizona? If so, where did you visit? If not, what are your favorite hometown hangouts?

Don't go on the 4th of July, the Hell's Angels take over Whiskey Row.
Love the theatre groups that visit Yavapai College.
And besides Jerome (home of Michelle Branch) and Mayer and Sedona, all ear shot away, I love Arcosanti at the Cordes Junction on I-17. Designed by Frank Loyd Wright contemprary, Palo Solari, it's a commune that is designed to accomodate 15K people and be able to walk anywhere within 15 minutes.
I saw first act on Woodstock, Ritchie Havens, there at an intimate BYOB afair with chinese lanterns leading the way to the ampitheatre.
Too many other beautiful experiences to list now.
I can't wait to go back there when I have extra time to sight see ... and eat.
