Today we started out the day in Ft. Walton Beach and traveled to lovely Boca Raton. My favorite news of the day was that of the one and only "Rocky" endorsing Dad. Seriously, there are few more bigger badasses than Sylvester Stallone! Tonight we went to the Florida Atlantic University debate, which is the last one before the big Florida primary on the 29th. It's amazing how I used to get so nervous sitting in the audience and going into the Spin Room after the debate. I must be getting more used to it because now, my heart rate barely goes up anymore. Tomorrow it's another very full day of campaigning throughout Florida. It's really an exciting time and I can literally feel the energy and momentum for my Dad in the air!

Due to some repeated requests, I'm going to try to post my playlists with more frequency. Back in my past life, I wanted to be a music journalist and am always constantly seeking any tips on new (or old!) interesting tunes. I hope everyone enjoys my recent selection of music. The past few days, I've been waking up to the first song on the list by Tony Allen. I've also added some other songs by The Velvet Underground and Elliot Smith, who are some of my favorite artists. The last song by Chet Baker always makes me want to drink a martini.

"Warm Weather, Part Deux" Today we started the day at an event in Pensacola where Dad and Mom did a townhall with Bud Day, a former POW with Dad. At the end of the event, there was a drumline leading my parents to the Straight Talk Express. My Dad couldn't have looked more excited. When I was a kid, I used to walk in parades with my Dad while he was campaigning and I remember him liking the drumline (I don't know if I hated anything more as a child than walking in parades). It's fun to see that part of him stay the same. (Check him out in the pics below, I think he even did a little jig to the music!) From Pensacola we went to Ft. Walton where I saw some very old family friends at the event. We used to vacation every summer in Destin, which is very close to Ft. Walton, and it was so nice to run into some familiar faces. After the event, we ate lunch at "The Hog's Breath" restaurant where I had my first job folding t-shirts in "The Hog's Breath" store. They have the best crab claws in the world! It was great to revisit so many fond memories. Stay tuned as we continue to rock it in Florida!

"Hello warm weather, Some days on the road are really exciting and vibrant and some days are more about getting in and out of cars and planes. Today was one of those days. We had the first event bright and early this morning in Miami at this awesome bakery called "Versailles" where I had a delicious Cuban sandwich for breakfast. From there we traveled to Jacksonville where the girls and I spent three hours doing nothing in the airport while Dad did interviews. (I started playing "Bouncing Off The Walls" by Sugarcult on my iPod as a joke.) I have to admit that I've missed the warm weather (growing up in Arizona, a cold day was 60 degrees) and it's nice to be in a hotter climate. We ended the day in Pensacola. Tomorrow I'll be spending the majority of the day traveling with my mom throughout the state while she speaks at McCain for President "meet-n-greets".
