"Elevation" I've been racking my brain trying to figure out a way to tell everyone how it felt for my dad to win the primary last night in South Carolina. Anyone who wants to know should listen to U2's song Elevation to understand what it felt like last night. It feels better now than it ever did. Thank you South Carolina for your hospitality and friendship. While this is nowhere near over, winning in South Carolina means so much for so many reasons. It only gets bigger and better from here...

"Southern Comfort" We spent another day campaigning around South Carolina. The day ended with a big event at a navy base on an airforce carrier in the amazing city of Charleston. The crowd was huge and full of energy and it was a great way to end a crazy week. For the record, I have become obsessed with Charleston. The city's vibe is a mixture of cosmopolitan/southern/gothic. It's like an offshoot of New Orleans complete with amazing architecture, restaurants, and shopping. Maria Menounos' interview ran on NBC "Nightly News" last night. I loved it (she was also beyond sweet)! Also, check out her blogging about her experience meeting me and Sarah Huckabee. I love that she included my obsession with Dita Von Teese and Chloe Sevigney (one of my biggest dreams would be to raid their wardrobes). Check out her blog entry. After the primary in South Carolina, we're on to Florida. Of course, we'll be blogging along the way!

"South Carolina Part Deux" Today we spent another day campaigning throughout South Carolina. For the second time on the trail we spent the night in my favorite hotel in South Carolina -- The Wilcox, in Aiken (seriously, the breakfast there is incredible). We went around to different rallies and townhalls, revving up for the primary on Saturday. One of the best parts about the townhalls today were all the veterans that came out to show support for my dad. I also did an interview for NBC "Nightly News" with the extremely beautiful and fashionable Maria Menounos about the different sons and daughters of presidential candidates. She was a really great interviewer and I can't wait to see the final product! It's scheduled to air on Friday night. Tomorrow is another full day out on the trail in South Carolina. I'm getting very attached to the southern charm and very friendly people in this state. P.S. My hair was in these crazy braids today because I had a dream last night that I had a mohawk full of braids. Go figure!
